Testimonials

We are so proud of what our participants with IDD have accomplished. Hear from their families . . .
  • "Hi Beaver, for over 3 years you have raised the level of awareness of employment for our kids tremendously and the impact in Sarasota will be eternal. Make this week a celebration of that accomplishment. Personally we are so grateful for the impact you have had on our family and especially on Kelley. We got to witness her in action at a level maybe we never dreamed. Watching Kelley overcome obstacles, blossom and grow made these the best 3 years ever. The sacrifice you and your family have made was enormous. You literally turned your lives upside down to make Rise Up happen. Knowing you did that for our child, for our family is overwhelming. Thank you can’t nearly express our emotion but please know you are dearly loved and appreciated. Friends for life. David, Debbie and Kelley. "

  • "We are forever grateful to Inclusion Revolution for giving Vaughn the tools and foundation needed to thrive at his job. The support and training he gained through this movement have been life changing. Having a job gives Vaughn a sense of purpose and independence, and it allows him to feel valued and included in the community. It’s been amazing to watch him communicate with more confidence and find ways to be understood. He’s begun to trust in his own abilities. Vaughn’s job is more than employment – it’s a chance for him to grow, contribute, and thrive."

This is what inclusion looks like. Real jobs, real wages, and real belonging. Vaughn’s story is just one of many. And we’re just getting started.

What Inspired Inclusion Works

"How did you do this?" is the question we heard most at Rise Up Cafe where 35 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities worked and ran an award-winning coffee and ice cream shop for 3 years in downtown Sarasota, Florida.
Now, we help others answer that question in their own communities so more people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can find meaningful work, connection, and belonging.
Let us help you build and start your own Inclusion Revolution.
