U.K.-based OmniSpool approached The Shriver Group to develop a website that would not only showcase their specialty fishing products but would take customers on a virtual fishing trip.
We incorporated fishing photos that we shot along with images from OmniSpool and added them to the product pages. We also incorporated a fun zoom tool to show more detail of OmniSpool's products.
In addition to the product images, photos were taken in a variety of worldwide fishing locations. The owner of OmniSpool and Beaver Shriver are both well "fishing-traveled," so the images were captured from Mongolia to Tierra del Fuego. After design groundwork and considerable consultation, the website launched in August 2012 in time for the International Fly Tackle Dealer Show.
OmniSpool products can now be found it top fly fishing shops around the planet. The Shriver Group continues to maintain the OmniSpool website, provide ongoing marketing consultation and strive to promote the OmniSpool brand.
